Program Instructions

After verifying the revision, the IP Address, and Subnet Mask of the access point, enter 
HyperTerminal to program the access point.

Access HyperTerminal by selecting 

Start 

Programs 

Accessories 

Communications

. Upon opening HyperTerminal, a Connection Description window 

displays.

Enter a name (suggestion: one that corresponds with the access point new revision) and 
Icon, and select 

OK

. A Connect To window displays (shown in FIGURE 2-10).
