Inspecting And Cleaning Optional Spark Arrestor Muffler

Ref. 802 311 / Ref. 802 160 / Ref. 201 841

Stop engine and let cool.

Spark Arrestor Muffler

Cleanout Plug

Remove plug and remove any dirt
covering cleanout hole.

Exhaust Pipe

Start engine and run at idle speed to
blow out cleanout hole. If nothing
blows out of hole, briefly cover end
of exhaust pipe with fireproof
material.

Stop engine and let cool.

Reinstall cleanout plug.

Tools Needed:
