The following fault messages appear in the display at the end of
the programme
Problem Cause and remedy

Check dosage
Excessive foam has built up during washing.

Check the amount of detergent dispensed.
 With automatic detergent dispensing check the
dosage amount set.

Observe the instructions on the detergent packag‐
ing and the degree of soiling of the laundry.
 If necessary, reduce the dosage amount by incre‐
ments of 10%.

Hygiene info: Start a
programme with a
minimum tempera-
ture of 60°C.
A programme using a temperature above 60°C has
not been run for a long time.

In order to prevent bacteria and unpleasant
odours building up in the machine, run the Mainte‐
nance wash programme using Miele machine
cleaner or powder detergent.

Fit a new cartridge or
refill container 1
or
Fit a new cartridge or
refill container 2.
Monitor wash re-
sults.
The TwinDos container (or containers) is empty.
 Fill the container or containers with liquid deter‐
gent or fabric conditioner or replace the car‐
tridge(s).
 Check if the laundry is clean. There may not have
been enough detergent.
If necessary, wash the items again.
The messages will appear at the end of the programme and when the washing
machine is switched on and need to be confirmed with the OK sensor.
