2.3.34 Brightness
The brightness of the display can be adjusted to suit the existing lighting
conditions.
See Section 070-4.3.
2.3.35 Fascia Panel Type
The different features are:

Front/top loader,

Load amount,

Extras Short/Intensive,

Extras that can be selected in special programs,

Express, Clean Machine.
2.3.36 Hygiene
If laundry is run continually at low temperatures, bacteria can start to form in
the washer.
A counter keeps track of the number of programs that are washed at a target
temperature below 104°F (40°C).
After a certain number, the prompt appears to run a program at a target
temperature above 140°F (60°C).
After the wash program above 140°F, the counter resets to 0.
Note:
The Hygiene program function has to be activated for this intervention; refer
to Section 070-3.34.
2.3.37 Chlorine/Bleach Agent Intake
To activate the chlorine/bleach agent intake.
Set the water path control for chlorine/bleach agent intake.
2.4 Service Functions
2.4.1 Component Test
Activate electronic components.
Check the function visually, acoustically, and by observing the display.
2.4.2 Sensor Test
Sensor signals are indicated.
Check the function visually, acoustically, and by observing the display.
So that all sensor functions can be checked, change test conditions manually,
moving from one test segment to another.
