DISPENSING OF PROCESS CHEMICALS

Limescale can damage heater elements and clog nozzles. In this case, the required tank
temperature for thermal disinfection may not be reached. Even if the supply water is soft, high
operating temperatures may still cause limescale to form.

For this reason, the machine is fitted ex works with a dispensing system for descaling agent. The
set consists of:



Dispenser pump



Level-fill indicator

Optionally and depending on the model version, the machine may also be equipped with an
additional dispenser system for liquid detergent. This system can be retrofitted by Miele Service or
an appropriately qualified person.
The dispenser system comprises the following:



Level-fill indicator

Each pump is assigned to a certain type of chemical, according to the table below.

Descaling agent

Detergent (optional)

Information on suitable process chemicals is available from the manufacturer or the machine
supplier.

When the fill level in the container is low you are reminded to refill it.
