Problem solving guide

Message

Cause and remedy



Clean airways

lights

up at the end of a
programme.

The dryer is not operating in the most effective or ef-
ficient way. Possible causes: Blockages caused by
fluff or detergent residues.



Clean the fluff filter.



Check and clean the air flow openings.

Follow the cleaning instructions in the “Cleaning and
care” chapter.



To clear the message: Open the fluff filter flap for
at least 10 seconds with the dryer switched on.



Clean fluff filter.
Check the airways.

lights up after a
programme has
been cancelled.

You have dried a small volume of textiles of different
sizes. A smaller piece of fabric has been drawn into
the loading area around the door and is blocking the
holes in the laundry deflector.



To clear the message: Touch the

sensor.



Open the dryer door.



Remove the item causing the problem.



Only dry individual and small items with larger
items.

If this is not the problem, a more serious fault has oc-
curred. See below.

The dryer is blocked with fluff or detergent residues.



Clean the fluff filter and the air channels.



Check the ducting to ensure that the dryer exhaust
air is not obstructed.

Follow the cleaning instructions in the “Cleaning and
care” chapter. If the fluff filter is damaged, it must be
replaced.



To clear the message: Touch the

sensor.



Fault F. If restart
fails, call Service

lights up after a
programme has
been cancelled.

There is no obvious cause.



Note the message on the display.



Touch the

sensor.

If the programme terminates again with the same er-
ror message, then there is a fault. Contact Miele Ser-
