Before using for the first time
Let the appliance stand for 30 minutes
to 1 hour once it has been transported
to its final location, before connecting
it to the power supply. This is very
important for later operation!
Protective film
The stainless steel internal mouldings
and supports of the appliance have a
layer of protective film.
Stainless steel appliances also have a
protective film on the external surfaces.

Do not remove this foil until the
appliance has been installed or built in.
Care and cleaning

Wipe the stainless steel internal
mouldings and supports of the
appliance with the enclosed Miele
stainless steel conditioner immediate-
ly after removing the protective film.

In the case of stainless steel
appliances also wipe the side walls
with the enclosed Miele stainless
steel conditioner immediately after
removing the protective film.
The appliance doors have a special
coating that is resistant to soiling. Do
not
wipe these with the Miele
stainless steel conditioner!
Important! Each application of the
Miele stainless steel conditioner forms
a durable protective film that is stain-
and water-repellent.

Clean the inside of the appliance and
the accessories with lukewarm water
and then dry everything with a cloth.
Active charcoal filters
(Active AirClean Filters)

Place the enclosed active charcoal
filters into the retainer and place the
retainer on any shelf in the
refrigerator section
(see "Active charcoal filters").
Operating the appliance
To operate this appliance, simply touch
the sensor buttons as needed.
Turning the appliance on
The refrigerator and freezer sections
are switched on together with the
On/Off button.

Touch the On/Off button until the
temperature display lights up.
The temperature display for the
refrigerator section will show the actual
temperature in the refrigerator section.
If the temperature in the freezer section
is above 0 °C, the temperature display
will show only dashes. As soon as the
temperature drops below 0 °C, the
temperature display will show the
actual temperature in the freezer
section.
