Switching on the appliance

CoolDown Function



Iron switched off

The iron will switch off automatically, if
it has not been moved for more than
3 minutes. The following message will
appear in the display



Iron switched off

to let you know it has switched off. After
a while steam will not be available ei-
ther. The message



Release stm. but-

ton

will appear in the display to let you

know the steam button is locked. To re-
lease the steam button



, push the

slider on the iron forwards (see "Iron-
ing").



The soleplate is still hot immedi-

ately after the heating is switched off!
Avoid direct contact with it.

As soon as the iron is moved, or the
steam button has been released, the
iron will start heating up again automati-
cally. The time taken for the steam to be
available again depends on the length
of time the heating was switched off.

When the steam ironing system is ready
and steam is available, the following
message



Ready

will be shown in the

display on the tower.



Do not leave the steam ironing

system unattended with the iron or
steamer connected!
Always withdraw the plug from the
outlet before leaving appliance.

Auto Off function

If the iron or the steamer is not used for
approx. 25 minutes, the entire steam
ironing system switches off automati-
cally.

The system is switched on again by
pressing the



button on the control

panel.
