Periodic checks
This washer-disinfector should be inspected in accordance with local
and national safety regulations
after every 2000 operating hours, or
every 12 months
by a Miele approved service technician.
Maintenance covers the following:
– Electrical safety according to national regulations (e.g.
VDE 0701/0702 in Germany)
– Door mechanism and door seal
– Any screw connections and connectors in the wash chamber
– Water inlet and drainage
– Internal and external dispensing systems
– Spray arms
– Filter combination
– Sump including drain pump and drain valve
– All mobile units, modules and inserts (charged separately)
and where applicable:
– Steam condenser
– Drying unit
– Conductivity monitoring
– Any printer connected to the machine
– Network connection
External documentation software and the computer network will
not be tested by the Miele Customer Service Department.
The following operational tests will be carried out as part of the main-
tenance:
– A programme sequence will be run as a test run with thermoelec-
trical measurement
– Seals will be tested for water tightness
– All relevant measuring systems will be safety tested, including fault
displays
