MOBILE GPS ANTENNA CABLE INSTALLATION

IC F5061, IC F6061 and IC F9511

1. Disassemble radio per manufactures disassembly instructions in radio service manual.

2. Drill a 1/4 inch hole in the rubber “bush” next to the power wires and mount the SMA connector in the

rubber “bush”. Tighten the nut on the SMA connector so that at least 5.5mm of threads extend past the
mounting nut.

3. Route the GPS cable as shown below, install the GPS-2
