Functions of Parts

Tray Flap

Used to open the feed tray to load documents.

Guide Arm

Slides to hold a stack of documents.

Document Output Tray

Stores a stack of documents which have been scanned.

Tray Extender

Used to extend the length of the Document Feed Tray.

Document Feed Tray

Holds the documents to be fed into the ADF

(for the high-volume document scanning).

Paper Stabilizer

Keeps a stack of documents neatly on the Document Feed Tray.

ADF Cover

The cover of the Automatic Document Feeder.

Earlobe Lever

Lifts up to open the ADF cover.

ADF Connector

Connects the ADF to the scanner.

Hi-Speed USB Port

Connects the Hi-Seed USB (USB 2.0) cable to the computer.

Power Connector

Connects the scanner to the power adapter.

Power Switch

Turns the scanner on or off.
