On pressing the button, the program change will be performed
cyclically; you will hear some tones that will indicate to you in the
program it’s found.

Follow the instructions of your hearing care professional to get the
most out of your hearing aids.
Each program will allow you to better adapt to the different
surroundings or situations of your daily life.
For example, your hearing aids can make use of these programs:
• Normal.
• Restaurant.
• Telephone*
• Traffic.
*Your hearing aid comply with standard IEC 60118-13 on electromagnetic compatibility.
Audio input
Your hearing aid

has a built-in audio input jack (
See Figure 10).
This allows you to connect your hearing aid to other audio equipment
with FM system, television or various audio equipment. It transmits
the source sound

directly to your hearing aid, which keeps the signal
clear and free of external interference.
Only use the Audio Shoe designed specifically for the hearing aid.
INSERTION
1. Open the battery door until to the first position, lift the top of the
connector and close the battery holder again.
2. Place the audio shoe on top, line up the jack contacts with those
that are now visible on the hearing aid.
3. Push the audio shoe downward until it couples with the hearing aid.
REMOVAL
1. Hold the device with one hand and the shoe with the other.
2. Pull the shoe outwards until it separates from the hearing aid.
3. Close the connector top, hiding the contacts below it.
WARNING!
Risk of injury by electrical shock!
Connect the audio input only to devices that comply with IEC 60065
(IEC standard for audio, video and other electronic devices).

Auto-Telephone

is equipped with an auto-telephone feature which
allows you to automatically select the best program for hearing
the telephone when you bring it close to your ear. (See automatic
activation)
When you finish speaking and remove the telephone from your ear,
the hearing aid will return to the program it was using before the call.

Automatic activation

If you wish the auto-telephone option to activate automatically, you
must place the magnetic accessory on the phone’s speaker of your
telephone.
Move the magnet slightly until you find the optimal position

obtain a reliable connection and pleasant hearing. Next, remove the
protective element and place your accessory on the phone’s speaker.

Magnets (Safety Recommendations)
CAUTION!
• Magnets can affect certain electronic devices. Make sure to never
place magnets on monitors, television sets or other electronic
apparatuses.
• Make sure to maintain distance between magnets and credit cards,
CDs and DVDs and other objects that are sensitive to magnetic fields
(more than 30 cm).
