Battery (insertion and change)

Open the battery compartment
Remove the battery cover and position it with the “+” symbol facing
up. Close the battery compartment.

If the battery is not well-placed, the hearing aid will not
function
.
To remove the battery, put the hearing aid upside down, open the
battery compartment and allow the battery to fall in your hand.

INFORMATION
• Remember that your hearing aid warns you through four beeps
when you need to change the battery.
• Remove the batteries if you will not use the hearing aid for a
prolonged period.
• Immediately replace weak batteries
• Always have a spare battery available.
Do not throw the batteries in the garbage! Hand them in to
a hearing health professional so that the batteries are properly
eliminated without harming the environment.
Adjusting the volume

The volume control allows you to adjust the amplification of your
hearing aid.
Use a finger to rotate the volume control wheel, as indicated in the
figure.
Number 1 is the lowest level.
Number 4 is the highest level.
Disconnection of the Hearing Aid

DISCONNECT: To disconnect your hearing aids partially open the
battery compartment.
CONNECT: To connect your hearing aids close the battery
compartment.
Placement of the Hearing Aid

1. Carefully insert the thin tube with the earmold or the adapter into
the ear without pushing it in too deeply.
2. Place the hearing aid behind the ear.
3. Check that the entire set is properly supported.
WARNING!
Danger of injury from improper use of custom earmolds.
If the custom earmold remains in the ear, ask a medical professional
to extract it.
Do not push the custom earmold with the thin tube too deeply into
the ear.
Use the thin tube and the adapter or the custom earmold only in the
way described in this user’s manual.
Battery Lock

Your hearing aid is equipped with a battery holder locking system.
This lock prevents undesired accidental opening of the compartment.
This element is located in the upper portion of the opening tab of the
battery compartment.
To prevent opening, insert a small screwdriver and slide it to one side.
Unlocking it can only be done by sliding the safety back to its original
position with the help of a small screwdriver.
