About the MS-810 Scanner
The MS-810 is a programmable, fixed-mount, high-speed scanner that reads and
decodes a wide variety of bar code labels using a 10-sided spinning mirror to project
laser beams over a wide scan angle.
About This Manual
This manual provides complete information on setting up and installing the MS-810
scanner.
Chapter 1 helps you to quickly setup start using your system. It includes “go to” ref-
erences to other chapters and appendices for more extensive information.
Chapter 2 introduces you to the Easy Setup Program (ESP) and describes the config-
uration commands.
Chapter 3 lists serial commands for configuring the MS-810 scanner.
Chapter 4 lists serial commands that can be used for operations.
For specifications, see appendix A. The appendices also include reference tables, as
well as other useful information relating to bar coding and the MS-810 scanner.
