Move to “REC” and press the "E" button to start the high resolution recording. During the high
resolution recording the LED will blink fast. At the end of the high resolution mode the device
will beep and switch to Holter mode. The LED will blink slowly.
Switching off the device
At the end of the ECG recording, the device can be switched off in two different ways:
― Automatic switch off
If the programmed recording time (1 to 7 days) has expired, the recorder will automatically
switch off. Therefore the cover can be opened and the flash card is ready to be downloaded
to MicroPort analysis software.
― Manual switch off
To switch off the device while it is still recording, open the back cover (the recorder will start
beeping) and keep the on/off button (1) pressed for a few seconds until the device stops
beeping. The LED (6) will now stop blinking and the flash card can be removed for download.
WARNING
: Removing the flash card or the battery while the device is recording, or stopping
the device with any other method than those described in this paragraph may damage the
data on the card and may render the card unreadable during the download.
Duration capability tables
The following tables show the duration capability of the recorder (in days) depending on the
flash card in use, on the number of recorded channels and on the recording quality mode.
This table is calculated on the size of the card and the amount of data recorded; it does not
consider the type of battery in use. The battery capacity must be high enough to support the
programmed duration and mode.
WARNING
: Only flash cards provided by MicroPort are fully compatible with SpiderView.
Other flash cards can cause recording problems.
WARNING
: It is strongly recommended not to use Windows formatting tools to erase the
flash card.
