DIP 2: ANTI MASK
Setting the DIP 2 in OFF anti-masking disabled.
Setting the DIP 2 in ON frontal anti-masking enabled by active infrared.
NOTE:
Open the detector, connect the power supply cables, close the detector
and power it.
Wait for 5 minutes for the stabilization of the system
If obscure the field detection of the detector and the dip 2 is ON, in a
maximum time of 10 seconds generates a tamper alarm (the output-mask
open) and remains in alarm as long as it remains the cause .
DIP3: “AND” FUNCTION
This function is activated setting DIP 3 in OFF position. In this
configuration, when the two infrared sensors and the microwave sensor
detect a movement, the detector, will trigger an alarm. This mode is
recommended in external environments with unstable elements may
cause a false alarm.
DIP 3: “OR” FUNCTION
This mode is activated setting DIP 3 in ON position. In this configuration,
when one of the two infrared sensors and the microwave sensor detect a
movement, the detector will produce an alarm. It is recommended in
completely external environments and in presence of small animals.
With this mode every small movement is detected.
DIP 4: MICROWAVE DE-ACTIVATION
DIP 4 in OFF.
Microwave enabled.
DIP 4 in ON .
Microwave disabled.
This mode refers to the microwave alarm detection.
In particularly narrow environments ( such as garage passages, gardens
pedestrian areas) it is reccommended setting DIP 4 in On position in
order to have the infrared sensors detection only. If you use this mode,
you will always set DIP 3 in Off position (AND mode).
