CHAPTER 8: OPTIONS

The 410 ECA printer has many options available to enhance the performance of the printer.
Contact your sales representative for more information on these features. See Appendix B for
ordering information.

8.1

MICROCOM LOGO SOFTWARE

This PC software program decodes a PCX file into an ogo file that can be down-loaded to
the 410 ECA printer. It supports all the 410 ECA logo features. The PCX or PCC file must
meet the 248 X 248 pixel scale- excluding white space - for the program to create the
picture. Otherwise, the graphic will begin with the first Y and X co-ordinate that contains
dark pixel data, and create a window of the graphic from that point. The advantages of this
software is that it is inexpensive, the OGO file can be used for a number of printers.  It
creates a true graphic representation (no dithering) of the PCX or PCC file. See Chapter 6
for more information on logos.
