Ethernet Setup Software and PC (Point-to-Point-Connection)
To make the appropriate address settings go to
Tools, Extended
and
TCP/IP Settings.
This setup is done via the camera‘s USB connection.
The address for the device is assigned under
Device address
. This must have a different address (last
block) to the other participant (e.g., PC) (
Send to address
). It is important that the network part (first three
blocks) must be identical for both addresses. The address range of the individual blocks can be between
0 and 255.
When using more than one Xi 80 in the same network a separate port number must be additionally config-
ured (Firmware 3015 and software version Rel. 3.5.3032.0 or higher necessary). The selected number can be
between 1 and 65535.
Furthermore, the Ethernet function has to be activated. This is done under
Tools
,
Extended
and
Options
.

When using more than one TIM 8 in the same network a separate
Port
has to be configured. This num-
ber has to be identical with the port number in TCP/IP Settings.
