Operation and Maintenance

Prior to the start of a measurement or setting let warm up the amplifier unit with the sensor connected up

for approximately 2 minutes with the supply voltage turned on.

Follow the operating instructions for the sensors that are used.
Adjust the controller new, if a sensor is replaced.

Operate a sensor with the controller MSC7210 only. Principally, the sensors must be adjusted together with
the controller before initial operation. The plunger must be able to move freely in the sensor.

The sensor housing is sealed by pasting and must not be opened.

Send the system to MICRO-EPSILON or the agent for repair or replacement, if the sensor fails or mal-

functions,

In the case of faults the cause of which is not clearly identifiable, send the whole measuring system

back.

Attempts at repair by the user result in the loss of the warranty!
