WIND BECOMES ELECTRICITY
Windpower is clean energy.
As soon as the speed of the wind exceeds approx.
3m/sec., the mill wings (
A
) begin to rotate. Power
is transferred via the main shaft (
B
) to the gear box
(
C
), where the number of revolutions are increased
to suit the generator's capacity(
D
). The wind vane
(
E
), ensures via the yaw mechanism (
F
) that the
turbine module is always positioned to derive the
maximum benefit from the wind's direction. All the
mill's functions can be controlled and at any time
checked via the central computer's control panel
(
G
), which together with Micon's well-proven and
sturdy mechanism, guarantees reliable production
and minimal maintenance year after year.
