Important safeguards
Please read this instruction manual carefully
before use and keep in a safe place for future
reference. To avoid damage or danger by
improper use, this instruction manual and all
safeguards should be followed If you give the
appliance to other person, also supply with the
instruction manual. In case of damage or acci-
dent caused by not following the instruction
manual and safeguards, the manufacturer
assumes no liability.
Before first use ensure that
your mains voltage corres-
ponds to that stated on the
rating plate of the appli-
ance. This appliance is
forbidden to be operated
by separate timer or sepa-
rate remote device.
Connect this appliance
to a plug which is wired
according to the regula-
tions (230 V ~AC).
Run the cable in a way that
nobody can stumble over it
or pull on it, to avoid
accidents.
Take care that the cable
never comes into contact
with sharp edges and hot
objects.
Additional protection may
be obtained by fitting a re-
sidual current device into
your home installation; that
must not exceed 30 mA
(IF < 30mA,). Please con-
sult a qualified electrician.
The iron must be used and
rested on a stable surface.
When placing the iron
upright on its stand, ensure
that the surface on which it
is placed is stable.
Do not operate any
appliance if:

power cord is damaged
-
in case of malfunction or
if it has been dropped or
damaged in any manner.
Special tools are required
to repair the appliance. In
any case ask a (*) compe-
tent qualified electrician
to check and repair it.
Should the cord be dama-
ged, it must be replaced
by a (*) competent qualified
electrician to avoid
any
danger caused by electric
current.
(*)Competent qualified electrician: after sales
department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualified, approved and
competent to perform this kind of repairs in
order to avoid all danger.
