UPC-A Options

**Transmit UPC-A Number Sys

When this option is selected , the
scanner will transmit the UPC-A number
system character. Metrologic strongly
discourages the disabling of this feature
because duplicate numbers may result in
the database when the scanner is
programmed not to transmit the UPC-A
number system character.

Do Not Transmit UPC-A
Number Sys

**UPC-A Check Digit On

When this option is on, the scanner will
transmit the UPC-A check digit.

UPC-A Check Digit Off

Convert UPC-A to EAN-13

When this option is selected , the scanner
will convert UPC-A to EAN-13 by trans-
mitting a leading zero before the bar code.

** Do Not Convert UPC-A to EAN-13
