5.2.5 Cleaning the sampling window
Cleaning the sampling window
The sampling window should be checked and cleaned at regular intervals.
Dirt, dust and sample residue on the sampling window can impair the
analytical results.
Cleaning can be performed any time, even when the instrument is in use
and, if necessary, between samples.
CAUTION
Surface damage
Do not use strong solvents such as acetone that can damage the instru-
ment surface permanently.
If needed, use a cloth moistened with isopropanol (do not soak).

Remove dirt and sample residue from the sampling window using
a clean microfiber cloth suitable for optics.
