Vial holder
The Vial holder is used for samples in glass
vials.
Safety switch mechanism allows measure-
ment with laser class 1. Laser stops if hous-
ing is opened.

Tablet holder
A spring-loaded holder helps to mount and
position the sample. The tablet holder is
designed such that different tablet or cap-
sule shapes can be used.

Calibration standard
The calibration standard contains an ASTM
1840 reference sample and is needed for
the calibration of the instrument.

Attaching smart tips
Using vial holder
Closing the lid prevents laser radiation from emerging.
The lid contains a safety feature which cancels the measurement and
stops the laser if the lid is opened.
Attach the smart tip as pictured.
