1. To remove cassettes, the cart’s main lock must be open (disengaged – relock handle up and the coral color
band visible). Open the center patient drawer in the second row of patient drawers of the uppermost cassette.
Lift up and pull forward.
2. Lift out the next cassette, etc.
3. Replace cassettes in the reverse order, starting with the bottom-most. Be certain that cassette notches are
properly seated and cassettes are properly aligned.
4. After replacing all cassettes, lock the cart by pushing down on the relock handle until it clicks into place (the
coral color band is no longer visible).
Adjustable Cup Dispensers (Optional)
Cup Dispenser
- One size available, adjustable - med cup (3/4 oz. (22 ml) to 1oz. (30 ml) Plastic cups).
1. To fill a dispenser initially, pull the dispenser gently out of the cart by rocking it back and forth slightly to
overcome the friction of the textured tape that keeps it snug.
2. Turn the dispenser’s top collar and fully open the top “O” ring. Push several cups into the dispenser with the
top open end of the cups facing down. Adjust the “O” ring until holds the rolled edge of the cups in place.
Don’t force cups!
3. Push the dispenser back into the cart and fill it with cups. It should not need to be adjusted again unless the
type of cup is changed.
4. If the dispenser becomes disassembled, reassemble it as follows:
a. Place the spring in the dispenser tube with the plastic cap down over the upper end of the spring. Push the
cap down until it catches over the spring.
b. Stretch the “O” ring onto the three short rounded tabs at the top of the tube.
c. Position the dispenser’s top collar (bezel) so that the collar’s tabs are directly in front of the “O” ring tabs.
Push the collar down and snap it closed.
Power Supply
Risk of Electric Shock - The AC power cord is the only means to disconnect the
power supply and Med cart from the AC power grid (mains). The ON switch on the
power supply does not disconnect from main power.
On the other side, the power supply employs a Li-Nano, SLA or LiFe batteries to
provide mobile DC output power. Low voltage (10-16 VDC) DC power is available
from the power supply even when the AC cord is disconnected from an AC outlet. To
remove DC power, put the ON switch in the OFF position.
1. Med Carts are available with rechargeable power sources featuring a variety of Lithium-based and Seal Lead
Acid (SLA) battery chemistries.
2. These power supplies feature a fully automatic charging system with a nominal DC output voltage of 12 Volts.
If cart is equipped with an AC unit, the AC output will be 120 Volts / 60 Hertz.
3. When plugged into an AC outlet it supplies power to the equipment while also charging the batteries.
4. When unplugged from the outlet, the power supply switches automatically to supply the equipment from the
internal rechargeable battery cells.
5. The power supply is designed for continuous operation and service is not interrupted by plugging in or
unplugging the power supply.
