• must be installed in places where it can
be checked by qualified personnel.
• it must not be installed outdoors or in
dusty environments (Fig. 8).
• must not be placed in areas where there
are jets of water, and it must not be washed
with jets of water.
• must be installed and tested in full com-
pliance with accident prevention regula-
tions, traditional regulations and current
regulations.
• it must be positioned at a minimum dis-
tance of 150 mm from the rear wall (Fig. 3).
• Avoid places exposed to direct sun
rays, closed spaces with high tempera-
tures and poor ventilation and avoid in-
stalling the machine close to any source
of heat (Fig. 6)
•
The installer should check any fire pre
-
vention requirements (contact the local
fire brigades for proper indications).
•
Position the ice maker in the final lo
-
cation making sure that it is perfectly flat
(Fig. 3)
• Connect only to drinking water network
• the water supply pressure should not
be less than 0.1 MPa (1 bar) and it should
not exceed 0.5 MPa (5 bar). If the pressure
exceeds 0.5 MPa, apply a pressure reduc-
er to the water feeding of the machine.
• Before carrying out any cleaning or
maintenance operations, disconnect the
machine from the power supply by oper-
ating the main switch and unplugging it.
If the socket is at a distance or in a posi-
tion that cannot be controlled by the oper-
ator or the appliance is not equipped with
a plug, a device for electrical padlocking
must be installed to avoid accidental con-
nection of the appliance.
• ordinary and extraordinary mainte-
nance operations must only be performed
by qualified installers.
• We decline any liability for damages to
persons, animals or things resulting from
failure to ground the equipment and the
performance of an electrical system which
is not compliant with applicable regula-
tions.
•
Use the new set of fittings (water pipe)
provided together with the device. The old
set of fittings should not be reused.
• In case of maintenance requiring the
replacement of parts of the machine, the
use of original spare parts is mandatory.
For information contact the seller or the
technical assistance of the manufacturer.
• In the event of abnormal operation of
the appliance or the appearance of alarms,
disconnect the machine from the electricity
and water supply and refer to Chap. 6 for
explanation and troubleshooting.
• The Sound Pressure level is less than
70 dB(A).
• For water-condensed equipment, the
maximum inlet water temperature must
not exceed 30°C (86°F)
• Check the tightness of the straps, nuts
and bolts, screws and clamps that may
have come loose during transportation to
avoid water leaks or other problems dur-
ing machine operation.
• Every 3 - 4 years of operation of
the machine, check the tightness and
efficiency of the electrical contacts
especially in the coils of the remote
switches and inside the relays. Replace
the component immediately with an
original spare part if it appears worn or
oxidized. Increase the frequency of this
intervention if the machine is subjected to
particularly intensive or continuous use.
PROPANE VERSIONS (R290)
•
ATTENTION: Fire hazard / flammable
material
• The device contains propane (R-290), in
the quantities indicated on the serial num-
ber plate (fig.10).
• The GWP (Global Warming Potential) of
the R-290 gas is 3.
• According to the standard ISO 817,
R-290 is a flammable gas.
• As in the event of leakage, propane
moves downwards, avoid placing the
machine in low-lying areas (fig.15)
• To avoid the ignition of propane in
the event of leakage and the spread of
fire, avoid placing sources of flame,
combustive or explosive materials within
a radius of 3 m, and ensure sufficient air
circulation (fig.19)
VERSIONS IN R134A
• The appliance contains fluorinated
greenhouse gas regulated by the Kyoto
Protocol, in the quantities indicated in the
serial number plate. The type of refriger-
ant gas present in the refrigerating circuit
