This product is warranted against defect of material and workmanship for the period of one
year, including any and all parts of this attachment. Please refer to the detailed “Warranty
Regulation” below.
The procedure to obtain repair under the warranty is to contact your Dealer. The warranty is
void if any part of the equipment was altered or modified in any way.
Some photos shown in the manual may be slightly different than your equipment. Any changes
made by manufacturer will be done without notification.
WARRANTY
A. Warranty Generalities
1. An absolute prerequisite for the
acknowledgment of any warranty claim by
METEC is the immediate notification of the
defect to METEC.
2. METEC undertakes to repair or replace free of
charge, all components proved to be defective
or unusable due to bad materials, wrong
construction or imperfect execution during
warranty period. (Excluding all pumps)
3. The failures and defects for which the buyer
claims a warranty must exclusively be repaired
by METEC or their agent. METEC will only
take over the costs arising from the repair or
replacement of the defective parts. If the
repair of the defective parts is not made in
the workshop of METEC, METEC will grant the
amount per working hour according to the
METEC standard rates valid at that time. The
calculation for the reimbursement of the repair
time will be made according to the standard
working time of METEC and third suppliers.
A compensation for driving time, transport
costs, shipping and customs charges, etc. will
only be granted in some exceptional cases and
if an agreement has been made beforehand.
4. No further claim against METEC, in particular for
the replacement of machines and equipment,
damages or cancellation of contract, will be
entertained.
5. The buyer is not entitled to withhold payments
which are due in case of warranty claims.
6. No warranty from METEC is given:
a. For damages originated by unacquainted
maintenance, unacquainted repairs,
wrong handling, excessive load, neglect of
operating instruction or accidents;
b. If different lubricants as those prescribed by
METEC are used;
c. For damaged parts on which repairs or
modifications were performed by the user
without the written approval from METEC;
d. In case of deficiency for which the buyer did
not take any measure to limit the damage;
e. On wear parts, such as but not limited to
skid shoes, cutting edges, Snow Blower
brushes;
f. If attachments are being used other than
what they are designed for, or not abiding
by the operating instructions;
g. If other parts were used, other than original
spare parts;
7. For third-party components, the liability of
METEC is limited to the guarantee period
and warranty conditions of the respective
subcontractor.
8. The warranty period includes 12 months, unless
a special agreement has specifically been
determined. The warranty starts on the day
of delivery to the end user. In all cases, the
warranty ends 18 months after delivery, ex
works.
