Road speed signal

The illustrated circuit diagram shows the
recommended wiring for the road speed
signal output.

Signal form:

Square wave

Pulse sequence:

4 pulses per metre (pulse width =4 ms)

The pulse duration is the same as the pulse
pause above a speed of 69.9 mph
(112.5 km/h) (1:1 pulse duty factor).

The ratio is maintained at higher speeds.
The pulse duration and pause both become
shorter.
