Halogen headlamps
Bi-xenon headlamps
The new A-Class is equipped as standard with
halogen headlamps (reflection technology).
The daytime running lamp (bulb) is integrated into
the headlamp for halogen headlamps. The low
beams, standing light, parking lights, high beams
and turn signal lights are shown here with bulbs.
The models A 180 and A 180 CDI with code (4U3)
BlueEFFICIENCY Edition are equipped with halogen
headlamps without daytime running lamps. For
these two models round LED daytime running
lamps in the bumper are available as special equip-
ment.
Also available as special equipment are round front
fog lamps in the bumper, but not in combination
with code (4U3) BlueEFFICIENCY Edition.
Two bi-xenon lighting system variants are available
as special equipment:
• Static bi-xenon projection module
• Dynamic bi-xenon projection module incl. ILS
(Intelligent Light System)
The light functions are displayed for standing light,
parking lights and turn signal lights by LEDs.
The daytime running lamp on bi-xenon headlamps
or the ILS is integrated into the headlamp and
displayed as an LED chain.
Round front fog lamps in the bumper are available
as special equipment.
