Air vents above the second and third rows of seats
(all vehicles except Mercedes-Maybach vehicles)

To set the airflow direction: hold the center of
air vent 1 and move it accordingly.

To open or close: turn controller 2 as far as
it will go.

To open or close: turn controller 1 as far as
it will go.
Opening or closing the air vent in the glove box

NOTE Damage to temperature-sensitive
objects in the glove box
Temperature-sensitive objects stored in the
glove box may be damaged by the air vent
located inside it.

Close the air vent when you heat the
vehicle.

At high outside temperatures, open the
air vent and switch on the A/C function.
The automatic climate control must be switched
on to cool the glove box.
Climate control 173
