It takes more than lavish ingredients to create the rewarding comfort of the E - Class cabin. It takes the
luxury of time. While the latest amenities are delivered in lasting style, the workmanship that’s evident in
every surface reflects a tradition of quality that runs generations deep. Shapely, supportive front seats
each offer 14-way power adjustment and three memory stations. Finely double-stitched upholstery is
carefully hand-fitted to each seat. The abundance of wood trim is also finished by hand, accented with
polished aluminum, and tailored to your palette — with warm Burl Walnut wood available on all models, or
deep Black Ash offered exclusively on the Sport editions. Dual-zone climate control automatically filters
dust, pollen and odors from the cabin air, and compensates for both the intensity and angle of the sun.
And both the standard sunroof and available Panorama roof employ heat-rejecting glass. The spacious,
stylish E-Class is crafted exactly as it’s meant to be experienced: with all the rewards of time well spent.
Memorable. Each front seat power-adjusts a total of 14 ways —
including a 4 -way lumbar support. A 3-position memory system
makes it easy to recall your favorite position, including the power
steering column and side mirror settings for the driver. Soothing
heated front seats, standard on the E 550, are available on all
other models. Optional Active Ventilated front seats offer cooling
comfort in summer, or help to distribute the seat heating in
winter. An available active multicontour driver seat can instantly
increase its lateral support during cornering maneuvers, or offer
an invigorating massage anytime. And since sometimes you need
to balance people and packages, 60/40-split folding rear seats
are standard on the Wagons, and optional on the Sedans. All of
these features are standard on the E 63 AMG Sedan and Wagon.
Immeasurable. The Panorama roof is a class-exclusive option
(standard on the E 63 AMG Wagon) that delivers grand skyward
vistas to the first and second seating rows. The power-operated
front section tilts up for ventilation or slides open for a breeze.
When closed, a power sliding screen helps keep sunlight at bay.
Seasonable. Digital dual-zone automatic climate control offers
precisely tailored comfort in any season. The system helps to
filter dust, pollen and odors from the cabin air. Advanced sensors
monitor humidity and sunlight, and can even detect a sudden
increase in airborne smog outside the car — all to maintain more
consistent comfort, wherever and whenever you drive.
Comfortable. Whether you’re on the go or parked outdoors, the
Premium 1 Package offers two types of fine-mesh screens to help
keep the cabin cooler: a power rear-window sunshade for Sedans,
or manual shades for the rear side doors of the Wagons.
Amiable. A network of efficient LEDs and fiber optics casts a
gentle glow from underneath the dash and door trim. Along with
illuminated door handles and footwells, the ambient lighting helps
to define the cabin with a soothing glow during nighttime driving.
