Temperature Selection (° C)
The interior tem perature can be adjusted by turning
the tem perature se le cto r wheel. The selected
tem perature is reached as quickly as possible and
maintained. A basic setting of 22° C/72° F is recom ­
mended. In order to avoid undesirable tem perature
fluctuations, a set tem perature should be readjusted in
small increments.
To override the autom atic climate control, turn the
tem perature selector wheel to either extrem e and
position “ M AX" or “ M IN ” .
“ MIN” = Peak cooling perform ance: the system
operates m ostly w ith recirculated air and a small am ount
o f fresh air is added. If the fan control is set to “ AUTOM ” ,
it will run continuously in speed No. 5.
“ M AX” = Maximum heating performance. If the fan
control is set to “ AUTOM” , it will run continuously in
speed No. 5.

Push upper button fo r maximum fan speed
(6th speed).
Push lower button fo r minimum fan speed (1st speed).
Push middle button (spring loaded) fo r autom atic control
o f air supply within 2nd through 5th fan speed range.
S etting @ = Always maximum fan speed.

In this setting, the fresh air supply to the interior of the
car is shut off, (to prevent entrance of odors, i.e. while
driving through tunnels, etc. o r to prevent the entrance
of w ater from autom atic car wash). Use this setting only
tem porarily while driving.
