7.4 - CARE IN SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
HIDRÁULICO
Make sure all system components are kept in good condition.
Immediately replace damaged, severed, crushed hoses.
Always relieve system pressure before disconnecting a hydraulic hose.
Avoid physical contact with hydraulic oil contains additives which in some situations
may be harmful to health.
Do not attempt makeshift repairs to hydraulic fittings or hoses using tape, clamps or
cement. The hydraulic system operates under extreme pressure. Such repairs will suddenly fail
and create a dangerous and unsafe condition.
If injured by a concentrated flow of high pressure hydraulic fluid, seek medical attention
immediately. Severe infection or toxic reaction can develop from the hydraulic fluid that
punctures the skin surface.
Wear adequate eye and hand protection when searching for hydraulic fluid leaks.
Use a piece of wood or cardboard to identify leaks. Never use your hands.
All hoses and quick couplings should be inspected periodically for visible damage.
Hydraulic hoses can be worn even if they are not visibly damaged. Defective hoses can cause
personal injury or fire.
In case of replacement of hydraulic hoses, follow the local regulations in force for
proper disposal.
7.5 - TIRE CALIBRATION
Tire calibration largely determines tire life.
Check the pressure with the cold tires and, if necessary,
calibrate them.
Recommended pressure:
Tire:60 pounds / in.(60 psi - 4.1 bar)
WHICH IS CORRECT
LOW
GAP
ATTENTION:
Operations involving oils (lubrication, changes) require the use of
protective gloves.
