6 - OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
a) Always make sure that the equipment is properly coupled to the tractor, ensuring that all
hitch pins are properly locked to prevent them from loosening in motion.
b) The gimbal is made up of hitched fairings and chains. When coupling the cardan, engage
each chain in places where they will not move so that the fairings are stationary with the cardan in
motion.
c) Check that the equipment support shoes are correctly raised.
d) Before operating the equipment, make sure that there are no tools or objects on the
machine and especially inside the print head and rotor.
e) Before starting work and during operation, make sure that there are no objects such as
stones, stumps, irons and others that could damage the rotor rollers or knives. This may cause
knives to break or warp, causing the rotor to become unbalanced.
f) Operate the equipment gradually while maintaining tractor speed between 1800 to 2000 rpm.
g) During work, if there is insufficient engine, remember to keep the engine running so that
the harvested material comes out normally. With relief from the equipment return to work.
h) If there is any rotor imbalance stop the equipment immediately and correct the problem
as continued use will cause damage to the machine.
i) Never approach or allow anyone else to approach the equipment when in operation,
especially the front feed rollers.
j) Never turn off the tractor when the equipment is full, as this will cause "screenout".
6.1 - IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS
BEFORE STARTING OPERATION
During operation, the wheels of the machine must remain flat on the ground.
The maximum angle of inclination of the cardan in work cannot exceed 25º.When lifting or
lowering the machine with the PTO connected, be careful not to exceed 25º.
Always switch the tractor PTO idling, wait for the system to fully start and then slowly accelerate
the tractor until it reaches between 1900 and 2100 on the tractor contagions.
It is recommended to slowly start harvesting until you reach the tractor speed that best suits
your product conditions such as height, humidity, density, slope, etc.
