5.2 Installing the outer wall terminal stainless steel pipe set M-WRG-ESR
5.2.1 Checking the ventilation pipes
► Check that the ventilation pipes protrude 25
- 30 mm beyond the external plaster (see
item 1 in Fig. 12).
► Check that the cut surfaces of the ventila-
tion pipes have been deburred (see item 2
in Fig. 12).
NOTE
The cut surfaces of the ventilation pipes must be
deburred. If this is not the case, there is a risk that
the seals of the outer wall terminal will be dam-
aged.
5.2.2 Applying permanently elastic sealant
and Vaseline
► Apply a thin coating of permanently elastic
sealant all around the outside of the ends of
the ventilation pipes (item 1 in Fig. 13). This
will fix the outer wall terminal in place in the
correct position when it is placed on the
ventilation pipe.
► Apply the Vaseline provided to the black
sealing tape on the insides of the two outer
wall terminals (see item 1 in Fig. 14).
