Inserting and fixing the wall box
► Remove the plaster cover (item 1 in Fig. 49) and the protective cover (item 2 in
Fig. 49) from the wall box (item 3 in Fig. 49).
► Apply assembly adhesive to the top of the lower batten (item 4 in Fig. 49) and the
underside of the upper batten (item 5 in Fig. 49).

► Thread the mains cable and the control cable, if required (item 6 in Fig. 49), through
the cable inlet in the wall box (item 7 in Fig. 49).
► Push the wall box between the two battens so that the plastering trim (item 1 in
Fig. 50) will end flush with the eventual internal wall cladding (e.g. OSB board + plas
-
terboard) or so that the internal wall cladding will protrude slightly above the plastering
trim (see section A-A and detail D in Fig. 51 and Fig. 60 on page 51).
NOTICE
—
The plastering trim is 15 mm deep (see Fig. 50).
— The plastering trim must NOT protrude above the eventual internal wall cladding
(see Fig. 59 on page 51) otherwise there will be an unsightly gap between the
plastering trim and the unit cover (U
2
cover).
— Make sure that the wall box is perpendicular as this is the only way to ensure that
any condensation will be carried outside by the 2° pipe fall.
