SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Do not use the unit without a cup attach-
ing a cup at each skewer! No fat or meat
juices should reach the bottom of the
device.
•
Avoid preparing foods that produce a lot of
liquid or that can easily fall off the skewer,
such as tomatoes or fish.
•
Hot skewers should only be handled with
gloves.
•
The unit must not be immersed in water!
•
Not for outdoor use.
•
There must be a distance of at least 15 cm
from the unit to walls, kitchen items and
furniture.
•
Avoid placing the unit in the vicinity of
curtains and other inflammable materials.
•
Food items on the skewers must not be so
large that they come into contact with the
glass tube around the heating element or
the edge of the cap.
BEFORE USE
•
Wipe the cabinet, skewers and cups with a
slightly damp cloth.
•
Turn the unit’s on / off button on, and let
the unit heat for 20-25 minutes with the
cap on, but without the skewers inserted.
There may be some smoke or odour in the
meantime. This is completely normal, and
the smoke/smell will soon disappear. Turn
off the unit and let it cool down.

USE
•
Lift the cap (6) off, and remove the skew-
ers (2) from the unit.
•
Place the cups (4) in the holes in the bot-
tom of the unit.
•
Connect the unit to the mains switch and
turn it on with the on/off button (5). Allow
the unit to warm up for 5 minutes.
•
Place (marinated) pieces of meat and
vegetables onto the skewers. Make sure
that there is a part of the skewer left bare
at each end as shown by the arrows.
