children aged from 8 years and above and

persons with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities or lack of experience

and knowledge if they are supervised or

have been given instructions concerning

use of the appliance in a safe way and

understand the hazards involved. Children

must not play with the appliance. Clean-

ing and user maintenance must not be

performed by children without supervision.

•

Keep an eye on any children in the vicinity

of the appliance when it is in use. The ap-

pliance is not a toy.

•

Incorrect use of this appliance may cause

personal injury and damage the appliance.

•

Use for its intended purpose only. The

manufacturer is not responsible for any

injury or damage resulting from incor-

rect use or handling (see also Guarantee

Terms).

•

For domestic use only. Not for outdoor or

commercial use.

•

For connection to 230 V, 50 Hz only.

•

The appliance, cord or plug must not be

placed in water or any other liquid.

•

Never touch the cord or plug with wet or

damp hands.

•

Never place the appliance where it could

fall into water. Should the appliance fall

into water, always unplug the appliance

before picking it up.

•

Use

•

Always place the appliance on a dry, level,

firm and heat-resistant surface well away

curtains, tablecloths or similar.

•   The appliance must not be placed or

stored near other sources of heat.

•   Do not cover.
•   The surfaces become very hot during use.

Do not touch the hot surfaces due to the

danger of burns.

•

Do not move the appliance when in use.

•   Please note that the appliance will remain

hot for a while after you switch it off.

completely before storage.

•

The glass lid and ceramic bowl must not

be placed in the oven, microwave oven,

freezer or on a hob or hotplate.

•

to sudden changes in temperature. If you

pour cold water into the ceramic bowl

when it is hot, it may crack or explode!

•

Allow the glass lid and ceramic bowl to

cool before cleaning them with water.

•

Due to the production technique, there is

an area on the underside of the ceramic

bowl which is not glazed. This area is

porous and may absorb water. For this

reason, the ceramic bowl must not be

immersed in water and must be dried im-

mediately after cleaning.

•

Do not switch the appliance on if the

ceramic bowl is empty or is not in the ap-

pliance.

•
