Never open any of the electrical parts or
insert any kind of object into them.
Protect the product from sharp edges, mechanical
loads and hot surfaces.
Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails.
Always unplug the mains adapter

from the
socket before installation, dismantling or
cleaning.
Never touch the product plug or the product
itself with wet hands.
The product must not be electrically connected
to another light chain.
If the product is not in use for any length of
time (e.g. holidays), disconnect them from the
power supply.
If you have any questions about the product
or are unsure about any of its aspects, please
seek the advice of an electrical equipment
specialist.
The product is protected against splashes of
water (IP44) as long as the socket meets the
minimum protection standard.
The product is only suited for use with the
included mains adapter
(JT-DC4.5V3.6W-H4-IP44).
Please note that the mains adapter continues to
draw a small amount of power even if the prod-
uct is turned off as long as the mains adapter
is plugged into a power outlet. To switch the
product off completely, unplug the mains
adapter from the socket.
The LEDs are not replaceable.
If the LEDs fail at the end of their lives, the
entire product must be replaced.
Use
Note: Remove all packaging materials from the
product.
Connect the mains adapter

by fastening the union nut

by turning it clockwise.
Plug the mains adapter

into a wall socket
that is easily accessible! The product is (perma-
nently) switched on. Select a wall socket that
you can easily unplug the mains adapter

from to switch off the product.
You can fix the product on the of window frames
or stair railings and fix the product by attaching
it with the help of mounting material such as
cable ties (Mounting material is not included.).
Timer function
To switch on the timer function, press the timer
button

after the product is connected to the
socket of power cable. The LED indicator of
the timer button

will light up green when
the timer function is activated.
The product glows permanently for 6 hours and
will be followed by a subsequent pause of 18
hours. Afterwards, the product will light up again
at its designated turn on time for 6 hours follo-
wed by a subsequent pause of 18 hours.
To switch off the timer function, press the timer
button

again and the LED indicator of the
timer button
5
will be turned off.
When the timer function is switched off, the
product glows continuously. To switch off the
product completely, the mains adapter
1
has
to be unplugged from the socket.
Cleaning and care
CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
First remove the mains adapter

from the socket.
CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK! For reasons of electrical safety the
product must never be cleaned with water or
other liquids or immersed in water.
Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar items.
This would damage the product.
Use only a soft brush or a brush for cleaning.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable
materials, which you may dispose of at local
recycling facilities.
