MELTER OPERATION

4. Disconnect the pneumatic power to the applicators and the electrical

power to the control unit programmer, if there is one.

Additional temperature safety signal

The Macro 200 melter is equipped with an additional temperature safety

signal which stops the machine in case of a certain temperature above the

temperature of the premelter is reached. This signal deactivates the main

contactor. This prevents the adhesive and the premelter from damage.

To program this additional safety temperature, follow these steps:

1. Select ‘

1’ mode with the rotating arrow.

2. Select the desired additional safety temperature between 0ºC and

200ºC using the left- right arrows. The additional safety temperature

recommended is 20ºC above the premelter temperature as maximum.

3. Select ‘RUN’ mode with the rotating arrow in order to memorize the

desired value.

Note:

if an error appears on the programmer display, check the temperature

sensor.
