4. Servicing
4.1. Exchanging the pressing rail _________________________________________________
Note: Let the appliance cool down first to avoid
risks of burns. Then disconnect the appliance
from the mains power supply. (This is important
for all repairs, maintenance and servicing work).
Unscrew the round knob (1).
Undo the four fastening screws and remove the
cover of the pressing rail.
Note: The cutting blade is very sharp!
The pressing rail (2) is now visible. Remove the
screw at the right or left end of the rail and taking the
opposite end of the rail pull it sideways.
Insert the new pressing rail, screw it in place. When
replacing the cover make sure that the axis of the
cutting carriage runs freely along the slit. Finally
screw the round knob back on.
4.2. Exchanging or turning the cutting blade _______________________________________

cover of the pressing rail.

Turn the blade, or replace it with a new one and
screw back into position. When replacing the cover
make sure that the axis of the cutting carriage runs
freely along the slit. Finally screw the round knob
back on.
