and the disc protector (4) (fig. 2).
• Now secure the work-piece
supports (2) (fig. 6), ensuring that here
too there is a maximum distance of 2
mm between the grinding disc and
the support.
• The rating data for your power supply
must be the same as those on the
tool.
Replacing the grinding wheels
Wear gloves to change the grinding
wheels. Pull out mains plug. Remove
safety cover by undoing the three screws
(fig. 7). Grip the grinding wheel firmly,
then, using a suitable spanner, remove
the retaining screws and flange (fig. 8).
The retaining screw of the right-hand
wheel has a right-hand thread, the left a
left-hand thread. Replace grinding
wheels. Reassemble in reverse order. To
ensure correct running, allow the grinder
to run for approx. 5 minutes without load.
8 – Operation/Mode of
operation
• The mains voltage must match
that shown on the type-plate of the
tool.
• Check the maximum distances for the
safety equipment.
• To switch on: Press On/Off switch to (l).
• To switch off: Press On/Off switch
to (O).
Do not run the tool for long
periods at a time. To avoid
overheating the tool should
not be kept switched on for longer than
15–30 minutes at a time. Allow the tool
to cool down between whiles.
• Press the work-piece carefully against
the grinding disc (fig. 4), using
adequate pressure. Remember that
the work-piece gets very hot during
grinding. Cool the work-piece from
time to time by dipping it in cold
water.
9 – Maintenance and
environmental protection
Remove grinding dust regularly from the
housing and moving parts with a brush,
or wipe the housing and moving parts
with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents!
Afterwards allow to dry thoroughly.

should not be disposed of in the
household waste! They are to be
collected separately, in
accordance with the
2002/96 EC directive for
the disposal of electrical
and electronic waste, and
sent for proper and
environmentally-friendly
recycling.
Please discard power tools no longer
usable at a local collection point.

• Store the machine, operating
instructions and where necessary the
accessories in the original packaging.
