Proceed as follows to change the settings:

Press and hold the
button.

Briefly press the
button while continuing to hold down the
button
until an audible signal is heard. The following image is display:

Now one of the following depth measurement processes may be
selected by pressing the
button:
Select this symbol if you want to determine the depth of a probe
which has been pushed into a non-metallic pipe.
Select this symbol if you want to determine the depth of a line,
the signal of an active transmitter is coupled onto.
Now a unit of length used by the system may be selected by pressing the
button:
Foot (ft)
will be used as the unit for length.
Metre (m)
will be used as the unit for length.

Press the
button to save the settings. The changes will remain in
effect even after the receiver is switched off and back on again.
