14.2 NPE NEAR PAPER END SENSOR

The reflex sensor GP2S700HCP (IC1) is located on the NPE sensor circuit board.
The distance between the paper and the surface of the printed circuit board has to
be adjusted to d = 3 mm ±1 mm.

When installing, ensure that the sensor could not interfere with lateral reflections.
The  black PE insulator is used in the paper  roll holder  to prevent this  effect,
alternatively the „Sharp Sensor Cover“ GPT-4673-2201-01 can be used. The hole in
the paper roll holder should be at least min. 4.5 x 5.5 mm.
