4. Instructions for measuring with a mobile device

Turn on the meter and start the app. If Bluetooth is enabled on the mobile device, both
devices connect automatically. On some mobile devices, you must first confirm the
Bluetooth connection with the meter.
The further procedure can be found in the instructions on page 7.
While aligning the antenna, the „Search“ in-
dicator appears. The signal strength dictates
how close you are to a satellite.
Once you are on the selected satellite, „Lock“
is displayed and the signal quality indicator
turns off.
Touch the signal quality and strength field to
enlarge it.
Furthermore, the values CNR, dBμV, BER and
MER as well as the modulation type DVB-S or
DVB-S2 are displayed.
