Installation -

Cabling

1.  Using a PoE-Enabled Switch

When using a PoE Switch or the PoE injector 
included with the camera, connect the camera using 
an Ethernet cable for both data and power.

2.  Using a Non-PoE Switch

When not using a PoE Switch or the PoE injector 
included with the camera, connect the camera to the 
switch using an Ethernet cable for data transmission 
and use a power adapter to power the camera.

Two Options

Use a PoE-enabled switch to connect data and power through a single cable and begin viewing and recording 
images instantly. A non-PoE switch will require an adaptor for power transmission.
