Installation
The Mega Merger Splitter can be rack mounted from the front or back or wall mounted. For wall mount, remove the rack
ears on the front panel and screw them on the side panels. For rear mounting remove the rack ears from the front and
mount them on the rear panels
Operation
1. Connect DMX out from your DMX controller (you can use ether the 3 or 5 Pin XLR connection) to your DMX in of the
Mega Merger Splitter. You use Port 1 for your primary device and Port 2 for your secondary controller.
2. The merger allows two inputs to
be merged depending on priority.
There are two input ports ( 1 and 2).
When the unit is receiving an input
on port 1, that input is run through
the splitter and the dmx signal on
Port 2 is ignored. If the Signal on
Port 1 is not present (off) the DMX
signal on Port 2 becomes Active.
This setup can be used so that the
main console controls the house-
lights when on, but when the console
is turned off the wall unites (hooked
to port 2) is active.
