H. Only use the tool for dry sanding.
I. Never work on materials that contain asbestos. Qualified personnel should only handle materials
that contain asbestos.
J. Hold the tool firmly with both hands. Always maintain a firm footing and good balance.
K. Sparks from the processing of metal can cause burns and/or fire. Keep bystanders away from the
work area and check that there are no flammable materials in the work area.
L. Frequently empty any dust bags – always after finishing the work. Handle dust very carefully - risk
of explosion. Never throw grinding dust into a fire. The dust can ignite spontaneously or if it is
exposed to oil or water.
M. Allow the tool to stop completely before putting it down.
N. Never allow children to use the tool.
Dust
A. Dust generated during the work may be harmful, carcinogenic, flammable or explosive. Wear a
dust mask and appropriate equipment for dust extraction/collection.
B. The dust from some alloys can ignite or explode. Mixtures of materials involve great risk – keep
the work area clean.
WARNING
Fire hazard!
Dust in the dust bag, vacuum cleaner or filters can catch fire or ignited by sparks, or hot
work pieces or other ignition sources, especially if they come in contact with polyurethane, solvent-
based paint or other chemicals. Make sure that tools/or the work piece do not overheat. Always
empty the dust container before a break in the work.
