CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL
IMPORTANT:
The engine is supplied without oil. Fill with 1.0 l of oil and check the oil level before
starting the engine. Do not run the engine without enough oil – risk of serious engine damage. The
warranty does not cover damage resulting from the engine being run with too little oil.
NOTE:
To check the oil level, place the machine on a horizontal surface. The engine must be switched
off.
1.
Remove the oil filler cap with the dipstick
and wipe the dipstick.
2.
Insert the oil dipstick again without
screwing it in, pull out and check the oil
level. Top up with oil if the level is too low.
3.
The recommended oil grade and volume
is specified under technical data.
4.
NOTE:
Do not overfill. Overfilling can
produce fumes, make the engine difficult
to start and/or cause carbon deposits on
the spark plug.
5.
Replace and tighten the filler cap with
the dipstick before starting the engine.
NOTE:
The level must be
between the markings max (H)
and min (L)
