Slot cutting
Choose the saw order so that the cut battens come
to the side of the saw blade that faces away from
the brake. The upper extractor cover must be
removed or tilted and the splitting wedge lowered
when slot sawing.
Electrical connection
IMPORTANT:
The saw’s motor is designed for operation in S6/40% mode. If it is overloaded the motor is switched off
automatically. After a cooling down period, the motor can be started again.
Damaged electrical connection cords
The insulation on electrical connection cords can become damaged. Damage can be due to:
Pressure
Folds
Cuts
Cable
failure
Damaged power supply cables must not be used and constitute mortal danger. Check the power supply
cable regularly for this type of damage. Make sure the power supply cable is not connected to the mains
supply when inspecting. Power supply cables must comply with applicable regulations. Only use power
supply cables labelled H 07 RN.
Alternating current motor
The mains power supply must be 230 V ~ 50 Hz. The extension cords must have a cross section of 1.5
mm² up to a length of 25 m and at least 2.5 mm² for a length of 25 m and more. Connection and repair of
electrical equipment may only be performed by qualified service personnel.
In the event of questions, state the following information:
Motor manufacturer
Type of motor current
Information about the machine plate
Always include the entire drive unit with the return of the motor. Follow the instructions!
MAINTENANCE
Warning:
Turn the machine off and disconnect it from the mains before performing any maintenance or
adjustments on the machine. Keep the User instructions close to the machine.
Keep the machine clean.
Wear protective glass when cleaning the machine.
Do not clean plastic parts on the work table with aggressive agents. A mild rinsing agent on a damp
cloth is recommended. The machine must not come into contact with water.
Check the saw blade regularly. Only use a sharp, crack free and non-deformed blade. Only use
tools that meet the European standard EN847-1.
Replace a worn work table insert immediately.
Always keep the work table surface free from resin.
Periodically clean the inside of the machine, such as tooth segments and the bevel on the tilting
system, from wood waste and sawdust.
Remove any dust by the extractor.
